What is DRAINZAP? 

DRAINZAP is a revolutionary formula that cuts through hair and organic waste as effectively as traditional products, without caustic chemicals, making it safe for drains and the environment. This product is available in a 1kg pouch, which contains 40 doses. 

Where can DRAINZAP be used? 

DRAINZAP can be used in showers, kitchen and bathroom sinks, baths and all other drain points. It dissolves hair and slime, removing the issues of blockages and odours. Regular use of DRAINZAP maintains free-flowing, odourless drains and prevents the recurrence of issues. 

Is DRAINZAP corrosive? 

Other drain cleaners such as caustic soda, bleach and sulfuric acid are extremely damaging to surfaces. DRAINZAP has been tested extensively for materials compatibility. DRAINZAP has no corrosive effect on plastics (HDPE, PVC, silicone, resin), stainless steel, ceramics and chromed fittings. Uncoated brass and copper-based alloys should have a small area tested first, as the layer of dark surface oxide may be removed, leaving a bright metal surface. The oxide layer typically regenerates quickly without damage to the underlying metal. 

How do I know how much product I need to purchase? 

Each 1kg pouch contains 40 scoops of product. For most severely impacted drains, daily application for 7 days will completely remediate the problem, leaving the plumbing clear and water flow improved. Each 1kg pouch will therefore restore 5 – 6 drains, although many drains will require less treatment than this. 

How do I use DRAINZAP? 

DRAINZAP is simple to administer, all you do is run warm water through the drain for 10 seconds, followed by one scoop of DRAINZAP into the drain. Leave this for at least an hour or for the best results overnight.
